Frank was itchin to get out so he drove up this morning & I took him to the new site I been hittin.
I feel bad as Frank got a 2 piece police button with a push in it. and not much else :-\
I snagged 3 1/2 more large coppers. one toasted liberty cap LC ,2 draped bust LC's and a real ugly clipped matron head LC :shocked04:verreaction: figures the clipped one was in the best shape of all of them >:{ 45 coppers on the year now cuz i'm counting this as a half so I can even my total with no 1/2's

Congrats on the coppers :smitten: and buttons. From your first couple of pictures it looks like the vegetation
is somewhat tame there. :)

Glad you got back to a whole number copper count. :peace: Any thoughts on why a LC would be cut so small?
 
Wow Dave, that place has turned out nicely for ya. I hope it continues. I see no mention of the crotal bell...is it cracked? Were any of those nails you dug partiality masking any of the coins? Drew

sorry Drew,the crotal bell got neglected.no it's complete.and yeah theres a ton of iron and the coins are hiding in it.frustrating but im workin this site for all it's worth diggin everything
