Just got back from a 3 hour hunt. Boy was it hot, so hot that the bill on my cap had sweat dripping off of it. Went back to a park that has been pretty good to me and gridded out a section maybe 20 x 40. Managed to dig 6 more wheats, 29, 35, 37, 40, 42 and a no dater. Also got my 25th silver, a 1943 merc. I am sure most of us are waiting for the weather to break, I know it will be a big relief here.

Thanks for reading

Congrats on all the wheats and the Silver. Today is the first day in about two weeks that my home A/C has actually cycled on and off during the day. Only about 90 today. WITH RAIN, Yahooooooooooooo! Won't be long we'll be back diggin, I hope. Meantime Al I'll be happy to look at your goodies!
1943 Merc!, Lets see.......
1943, Charlie Chaplin marries Oona O'Neill, Germans surrender at Stalingrad, John F. Kennedy's boat, PT-109 sunk by the Amagiri, 1943 World Series, St Louis Cardinals vs New York Yankees!

Hey AL !!

Yeah the heat is killer... and we've all bit the bullet and got out... but 2-2.5 hours is about all I can handle...

6 wheaties and 1 merc is a good day any day :-)

Makes one miss last February, 6:30am, 25degrees, no snow....perfect hunting. Nice job out there, in less than idea conditions.

Congrats on another productive hunt Al. :clapping: The heat kept me away from digging most June. :embarrassed:
