Hi,
I've been detecting for about a year. I like hunting for relics, the farther out in the boonies the better. And coin shooting is fun too. Feel free to hollar at me if you live in the area and would like to go hunting.
I'm using a White's Spectra V3I with the stock 10 D2 coil and a Eclipse Shooter DD 4X6 for trashy or woody areas.

Howdy from Kentucky! You sure found a great forum thumbsup01

I live in a pretty big city here and prefer hunting out in the boonies myself. It sure is satisfying to find an old coin or relic out in the middle of no-where :shocked04:stretcher: I've been using old county maps from 1800's to search out good sites.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you found us! :)

I am originally from eastern Iowa (Quad Cities area) but lived in Iowa City for 25 years before moving here (Lexington, KY) five years ago. All of my family are still in Iowa, I miss it terribly, and can't wait to move back.

Looking forward to seeing your posts :)

Welcome from Illinois! Glad to have you here, Adrian! :clapping:

Coincidentally, one of my rarest coins is also an 1893-O Barber Dime. I found it in 1985 with my old Whites 5000D in the yard of a private residence.

Best of luck with your detecting! Be sure to keep us posted on your progress! thumbsup01
