A couple silvers and encounter with raccoon

Nothing too exciting in the finds department here lately. It's just been too hot and dry to hunt. These are my scant finds from hunts on June 23, 2012 and July 1, 2012.

Well, at least small woodland creatures don't ask to use your detector or want the coin you just found. Unlike the kids that come around. :hysterical:

Nice finds Tony in spite of the hot and dry weather! Crazy hot and dry here too, confining me to the fields, woods, river banks, and construction sites......which is usually where I am anyway I guess!

looks like a good hunt or two the lttie coon was fun to watch my daughter would not agree when she was 12 years old at our local park she found 4 of them stuck in a garbage barrel she tiped it over and all but one ran out the last one stayed inside and was scared to come out she took a stick and tried to get him out you will probably have quessed what happened it came out and bit her finger and took of to the woods she had to go thru rabies shots she learend a good lesson glad your encounter turned out better again congrats on your finds dennis
