From the land of the Bluenose.....0840hrs! 0850hrs. The clock hit 0900hrs and out came the technician. A burly man. A man who didn't smile. As Marie sat there he lead me into the chamber...............of horrors! He strapped me down to the table and in a voice that would stop an eight day clock said &quot:grin:shocked04:n't move.

He then put a hair net on me. Then headphones. What sort of fiendish experiment was he going to do on this bouy? Music piped in. Q104...hard rock......the horror....the horror!

I was then inserted into a long, grey tube and the noise began. Gears! Tat....tat....tat..... All I could remember was that I was not suppose to move. Queen, AC DC...when would it end? 20 minutes later I was still strapped to the board with Gud knows what pounding my body. Suddenly I was jolted as a voice calmly told me I was done! Freedom to move. Freedom to go. This was my first experience with having an MRI.

Having survived Marie treated me by saying that I could go a digging! LIFE IS GOOD!

After dropping her off at home I headed to a local playing field. One coin later....it was off to the beach as my knee was killing me. A few of these and....

I had a deep thought. Must be the detectorist's international Year of the Cutlery!

Completed the tri facto (land , beach and water) by going aquatic with severe reservations. Had my wet suit on and was looking over my shoulder every moment hoping that once again Green Peace would not tow me out to sea. By the looks of the other aquatic life swimming I was low on the totem pole me son.

Rings started coming......not the kind for the finger youz but the ears!

Near the shore about waist deep retrieved two dinkies. had run into Maple Leaf who is a newbie on the forums and he was hammering away in a methodical way with his Radio Shack Bounty Hunter which he stated had been sitting in the closet for years................and finally came out!

He had told me about a gold ring that was lost and as he was leaving I said playfully, I'll find it ten minutes after you are gone. I lied as it was like about 5 minutes after he left in chin high water I pulled her out! A honker youz!

Anyway ended the day with a few shallow water dinkies and dewies.

:congrats: on another gold &quot:daydream:. And some nice earrings too. I'm surprised how many kids leave their cars on (or should i say in) the beach. Worst part of MRI's is when you gota go and you have to stay still. >:/
All in all some great finds from land, sea and sand. :happydance01:
