Help -I can't find this button anywhere! There are sure a lot of variety of naval buttons :shocked04:stretcher: but none w/lines in circle pattern- they all seem to be horizontal... I'm looking for a time period, out of curiosity

It's a larger button- about the size of a quarter!

As you can see in the pic, there's no visible backmark lol

Tana i believe yours is a civilian type button with naval anchor motif , probably from the early 1900's as i do not see that in any of my military books .

Thanks for checking your book for me- there should be some early coins there too  I'm looking forward to hunting this city park some more :happydance01: It was est in early 50's and the neighborhood sign said 1949. There was prob an old homestead nearby in the day... time to check out the old county maps on www.historicmapworks.com (http://www.historicmapworks.com)

I found a huge handful of clad but nothing earlier than '67 (a quarter of course) >:/

The old button at 4 gives me hope!
