Been out of town on business meetings the past week so I was anxious to get back into the dirt. Met Pokie73 at a local park after work and I tried a new hunting technique and it paid off. I picked out a well hunted area and gave it a go. In about 15 minutes I got a screaming 12-42 at 6 inches so I started to dig. I thought it was a Wheatie or a Memorial but to my surprise it was a 1941 Merc. :thinkingabout: Silver #67 for 2012! :happy: About a foot away from the Merc dig I got a solid 12-40 at 7 inches and it turned out to be a 1944 green Wheatie.
