After an ill-fated attempt at a painting of a merc (canvas was too coarse for detailing), I decided to go back and finish my pencil drawing of a mercury dime. I think I'm going to enter it into the fair after I frame it. Here it is!

Quite nice drawings. Thanks for sharing with us. Is that a 1916 D dime by the way?

Dale Earnhardt would be correct... Mahi Mahi, Dolphin, Dorado (all the same..lol) I figure it is probably a 1916 plain...seems that's the only ones I find. LOL
