We have been discussing having t-shirts printed with the American Detectorist logo on them. It's just an idea at this time, but here is an example of what the t-shirts may look like with the logo. Thanks to Dale (Okiedigger) for his adding the logo to the sample t-shirts!

Here is how the logo would look like on a sweatshirt. :)

Our MD club has tee shirts and sweat shirts. One suggestion...white is not a good color choice. They really show the dirt.

Our club switched to a light gray that really works out well.

Don't laugh at the picture...I took it with my Mac.

You are right, white would be a dirt magnet. Great suggestion. Thanks!

The photo you took with the Mac is sharp actually. Nice club logo. :)

This time of year the sweat shirt will probably work better.

Nice shirt Lowjiber!

How about pink? thumbsup01. Kidding :)

That is a nice sweatshirt John, and a good point on the color. I like the idea of a pullover too, for detecting this time of year, and pretty much all winter in KY.

Dale were you going to add the forum address to the back to the shirt?

Those were just examples. I can if they want to see it.

I like the logo. I do have to concur with John, white is a nonstarter.
Remember, there are two kinds of dirt. The light kind that sticks to dark material, and the dark kind that adheres to light colored material. If I may suggest, medium grays, browns and reds. Though, on second thought, white may be good under a sport jacket.......Gil

I like the white but navy blue would look great. How's neon red , yellow or orange.

We put the detectorist's Code Of Conduct on the back of ours, and our logo on the T-shirt pocket area on the front.

I don't think I have a pic, Angel, but when I sport it, it's something that gives inspiration (that, and the 8-reale on my neck).

I like the design a lot. Personally, I am partial to natural colors for my shirts. Colors like slate blue, dirt red (Oklahoma red-dirt), chocolate, etc. Everything has a washed, soft, and worn look.

How about a hat? Man I miss my old LT hat from Lost Treasure mag. it was slate-blue with grey embroidery. I worn that sucker ALLLL the time and it looked awesome by the time it disapeared. Now I can't find that color for sale anymore from them.

Anyway, I digress....... I like the shirt idea.

How about a design (like the copper shirt) with a seated silver and the phrase Silver makes the coil go 'round, or something to that effect?

I like it. Just flip the front and back design, and you got a winner!

I may have to buy a coffee mug with that design.

Well, I haven't advertised it much, other than placing a link in the news at the top of the page, but I have been working on a store where I can load my logos and create t-shirts, hoodies, and others such items. You can view it at the following link - American Detectorist Store (http://www.zazzle.com/americandetectorist*).

I looked at several such sites, where they provide all the services - merchandise, printing, shipping, charging, etc - and all I have to do is create and load the designs. The one I selected offers some very good services, so I went with them. :)

Stark white is a bit much for me.. I made shirts for our Marina and Ashe white was perfect.. light in color for the water, but doesn't show the dirt much.. you know what it is.. kinda a whitish grey peppery looking color.. just my 2 cents (now if I could only find a 2 center) lol

I noticed on the sales page that it doesn't have the one with the pile of coins on the front and the detectorist on the back... I like the first option better.
