Sunday Rob and I hit the old park again. Rob found out that the guy we got the lead from had been digging coppers, reales, colonial buttons, etc. out of this park.

I managed to find part of a cufflink (this is where the pretty sure part comes in) but I was wondering if anybody could date this item?? It rang up as silver.

Thanks for reading

wow Al , it looks pretty old and i could only speculate on its age . how deep was it ??

Del, it was only about 3-4 down but we have been finding silvers on top of the ground there. They reconstructed the park and most of the dirt was moved around.

Just my 2 Cents but I'm guessing late 1800's or early 1900's. There's something about the back that says it's not older than that plus the silver is in such great shape. I might take it to an Antique Jeweler and get their opinion.
