Wanted to go hunt for an hr or so at this colonial house i have permission to hunt. I've hunted it last week for an hour and found a ½ cent among some other nice finds. Lots of land to hunt and i cant weight to get back, but this late afternoon hunt turned into 3+ hrs. I couldn't leave it seemed it was target after target. Also found some awesome blacksmith things, no pictures now of them but this is what has me going! Awesome relics-buttons, some crusty coppers, this 1854 ½ dime and this crusty pewter coin. I'm still doing back flips!! ....HH.... 401K

That sure is going to be one very nice site. With what you have recovered so far, I'd be pitching a tent there. :congrats:

thanks everyone!! This is a site that I've hunted a little last year with my hunting bud and pulled some nice finds. I would love to pitch a tent but this site ya can only hunt 3-4 times a month and not pick holes all over, I already feel uneasy making holes in this well groomed, manicured estate on a 3+ hr hunt. Don't want the owner telling me to Get the hell out of here ya god damned scrounge Like I was told back in the 1970s. I guess it's move to another yard and hit this as soon as possible. Can't wait! ....HH.... 401K

Wow... :shocked04: What an incredible site you have there. :smitten:
You dug some amazing keepers here. :clapping: I'm sure there is quite a bit more waiting to be found. (You'll have to do it in stages.)

You are doing the right thing by treating the well kept area with respect. I've got 3 large home sites I'm just waiting for fall/late fall to detect.
It's been so dry around here since late May, that digging in someone's yard is simply a bad idea.

The age of the coins and relics you are digging is impressive. Good luck on your next trip there. :->
