Now that is what I call a well ballanced and healthy diet. thumbsup01 I got out to hunt today after eating a bowl of deer stew made from one of my last year, deer kills. I only had an hour so I headed back to the spot I pulled the 64 Rosie from last Thursday. Well nothing changed, I pulled a 64 Rosie almost from the same spot today and then I found the 58 Wheat moments later. As I headed back to work I came across the 1959 Memorial, dang it I missed a Wheat by 1 year. Anyways I had a great time for such a short hunt. So now my question is, why can't all my lunches be as fun

Thanks for looking,

Dave

Good eats and good hunt there Dave, That's a way to spend a lunch break. thumbsup01 I only found one wheat this morning before heading to work, and I too have been trying to eat up last years deer kill. This Sat we can start hanging stands on public lands. :clapping: Bow season here in Missouri starts mid Sept.
Good hunting to ya thumbsup01

Thanks everybody, hope the rain starts falling soon in your part of the woods, that is if you still need rain, we are still in a burn ban here in all of Okla. I don't know how far behind we are but every little bit helps. Maybe when the ground softens the silver will be found. I am very thankfull that I have found 8 silvers this month.

Happy Hunting to all,

Dave

Good luck to you and your daughter. thumbsup01. I'll miss openning day. My wife and I will be on a cruise. But were going to hit it hard as soon as I get home. Our season use to start 1 Oct, but a few years ago, they backed it up two weeks. :clapping:. Happy hunting & good hunting to ya, Eric

Very nice, I like lunch hunting but it's been too stinkin' hot and dry! Waiting for cooler fall weather.
