Well the big day was at hand for Marie's niece Shelly and I was granted digging time before the wedding.

Meandered here and there ending up where I went to grade 5. In behind the school is an area where they quarried rock for York Redoubt, Citadel Hill and Devil's Hill forts. was surprised after popping a few pennies this oldie showed up!

Place got really stingy quick so I moved on to a lake where i eyeballed a few finds

and dug a few more coins.

Started to head back home to get ready for the dew and had a short time at the lowered lake which is still producing.

Quota was had with 66 coins added to the bucket along with a button and musket ball.

Of course Marie's wandering eye captured the Gipper as we took the horse and buggy back to the bunk/party area.

After putting our gear into a bunk house it was off to the wedding and once again the Gipper was playing the lady's man. This time with the bride's maids.

The bride and her father arrived on time and the ceremony began.

Quick and to the point and it was party time. Lot of bull...........riding going on as Katie takes a ride to loosen up for some mean rug cutting in the main chow bunk!

Man what a night and even managed to get in some dancing myself aided by beer and meds. Next morning I certainly did not feel like myself at breakfast.

Of course Pepper was taking his daily mud bath as we loaded the wagon to leave.

Great time and I had a bluenoser moment..............14 years ago a single bed was too big for Marie and I and now a queen sized one is too small.........................................! <;)
