Hello all...

I was for out for exactly 2 hours tonight... Its getting dark about 7pm now...

I hit an old farm and worked in the trash real slow with my CTX 3030... Ferrous Coin Combined 5 Tone...

My first keepers was a solid 22-24 conductive target...

Robinson's & Jones Co Button... I was thinking after I pulled this out that it was pre civil war by the look and feel... and it is... 1828-1834 range...

Next out was a 1903 Indian Head...

60 minutes later with a minutes of light left... out popped a badge...

Dick Tracy :-)

Very nice looking button :perfect10:. I have to say that it has been a while since i was able to dig a button. The badge is very cool, some youngster probably cried when he realized that he had lost it.

That is a rare find on the button. It's Civil War, and the A stands for artillary. A lot fewer of those out there, than say the I for infantry. VERY nice! :clapping:

Hey Rob !! Unless I'm way off base this on is earlier than the Civil War... It doesn't look or feel the same as other Civil War Buttons... and the Name Robinson's & Jones Co existed from 1828-1836...

Anyone have an Albert's Button Book and could you look it up please ??

Respectfully,
Paul
