Winder?

Found this during Al and I's field hunt. The small end is threaded. I am thinking it is a winder of some sort. Confirmation? Suggestions?

Rob has anyone told you , you have the most steadiest hands lol lol watch winders don't generally have threads on the outside of the shaft. they usually have an iron or steel end-sleeve inside of the shaft bacause brass wouldn't hold up very long to the constant winding and tension.

I'm trying to get a gig being a hand model......so far I still have to keep my regualr job lol

So if that's not what it is, that what is it:huh:thinkingabout:? :dontknow:

yeah .... well..... let me know how that turns out for you :eyebrow: lol lol

it does look about the right size for one and first impression would indicate it could serve as one but like i said every one i've seen has somekind of iron or steel end that goes into the pocket watch. :dontknow: :dontknow:
