Well today I was out for some oldies ! I hunted a park in an old area that I had hunted with other detectors since the late 1990's . Each time I got a new machine more deep finds would pop up . The new MXT PRO worked great today ! First two old coins were a 1944 & 1954S wheats . They were about 6-7 inches and were iffy targets but the new machine found them ! Next I got a 8 inch iffy signal that was all over the place . It went from +35 - +72 . It was my first ever old token ! I have never found any GOOD FOR tokens in 15 years of hunting . This one is a Good for one small loaf of bread . It's from the Parisian Baking Co. of Mountain View , California . I'm guessing it's from the 1940's ? The last old coin was a big surprise , at 8 inches another iffy target . It went from +45 - +62 VDI . I was happy to see a Indian Head penny , 1891 ! The other cool items were two old spoons , one marked Regal Pure Silver Plate . Not sure what the last item is . It's brass and looks old .
I am loving this new MXT PRO ! |:cheering:

Turns out the token dates from 1923 and the Regal silver plate spoon is from 1904 . |:cheering:

Nice finds. Isn't it great that kids used to take a spoon out to play in the dirt with? I like finding old spoons. Especially silver. We don't find as many knives and forks as we do spoons. Coins are great, but its nice to find a spoon occasionally. ;)
