Found a vintage Disney ring

Hey diggers,

I was MDing at an old abandoned house today (circa 1900). The old guy who owns it told me a guy was there about 2 months ago with his detector and he cleaned the place out. He told me all the coins were gone but I could look if I wanted to. No sooner than I put my coil down I got a wheat penny signal at 4 inches. Out comes a 1910! Later, I got a strong 12-44 at 6 inches on my e-trac and pulled one of those Palmolive tokens (you know, buy one cake get one cake free). Not 5 minutes later I got a screamer 12-47 at 6 inches and popped out a small silver ring. I wiped the dirt off and could see Donald Duck looking at me! I did some research and the ring dates to 1948. On the inside it is marked Sterling and cWDP (copyright Walt Disney Productions). The cool thing is a Disney ring has always been on my wish list and now I have found one! Thanks for looking and HH, Dave.

p.s. I also found a toasty 1908 Indian head penny--rang up as 08-38.

That guy was hilarious. Old and cantankerous! Said the F word at least twice in every sentence! He had left to run errands so I didn't get to thank him again or show him the finds.
