Went to a local area that has a building dating to 1830. I get first good signal one minute in and ten feet from my truck it was at four inches a 1865 two center. What an awesome way to start a hunt.

After filling the two center hole I stand up and grab my detector and put it right down on a very strong 86 VDI.
This turns out to be a 1936 quarter. Now I'm jumping for joy two old coins in as many minutes . I'm ready to go home now but greed pushes me on.

A few minutes later I find a 194? Wheat and not far from that another very worn very thin remnants of what used to be a penny?

A short while later I find 1/3 of a merc and not long after I find the 1917 merc at 3 inches.

Had a dry spell for a while finding the occasional memorial or clad dimes.

I then get a what I thought was a nickel at tree inches but the VDI was jumping from 19 to 18 then to 21.
This turns out to be the Glendale E&K dairy token good for a $.1 pint of milk. this is the second one of these that was found there. My buddy Lee found one a while back.

I was using Multi mixed mode with slight changes to RX and disc. Love that program.

Im hoping to get back there soon but weather may put that off till next year.

Sorry I know the pictures suck but its the best I can do with my phone.

Very nice hunting. A 2 center and a wash quarter would make the hunt, but I agree that greed has a way of pushing us on. :congrats: on all your keepers and lets hope that the hunting is not over for the year.

I forgot to mention Lee was supposed to hunt with me after he got out of work but the Mrs put the foot down and made him stay home and iron her dresses or something like

Just as we'll had he came he would have found all that and I would have been digging the clad like normal.

Whoa! :shocked04: That is a great 3 hours worth of huntin'! :peace:
2 centers are hard to come by around here. So it's always nice to see one come to the surface for someone. :envious: lol
Nice digs Chris! thumbsup01
