Need help with identification...

Hi guys, been quite awhile since I have posted and I'm in need of help with an ID.
I found this at an old farmhouse from the early 1900's.
Did some quick Google searches and haven't come up with it yet...any ideas?

Jimmy it could be anyone of the following ...
an employee's tag at a large factory used like a time card at work
a tool check number used when tools were used by people at the same
it could be a livestock tag
a stable tag used to check animals in and out of the stable
its possible but doubtful its a baggage claim to a stagecaoch or Railroad

hope this helps some with options to research

It's just a guess but I think the B.H.W. & S stands for Broads, Horses, Whiskey & Smokes! Looks like a manly find to me! rofl

I'll keep looking to see if I can find out for sure what it was...I may never know!
