View Full Version : Any body make out this word?

Still working the old 1870 house where we pulled out alot of iron. This one here has the word Pat's March on it and looking on google shows a old flat iron maker but can not locate this particlular handle. On the back side it has another word which I can not make out all the way. Any body have any ideas or, has a picture of this handle attached to some thing? Also, on the front, the last line, is that a date?? All guess welcome. Good hunting all.

I Googled it but I didn't come up with much :dontknow:
We'll see what the rest of the members think it says :->

Thanks Lee and Ill Digger. I thought that was a date on that thing but wasn't quiet sure. I would love to find a picture of what the handle was attached to. HH all.

Have you tryed doing a paper rubbing.
You know,with a charcoal pencil.

Thanks Tony. I've been tring every combo possible and still haven't found it. But I have been finding pic's of some old glass butter churn handles that looks close.

Thanks for the info Lee. We'll have to give that a try.
