I only had three quick meetings this morning at work so off I went to hunt my favorite old park ! I decided to work the middle of the large field , in the past I have not found much in this part . I dug every solid target from +4 to +94 and trying to listen for the deep silver . The first great target turned out to be two items . The VDI was jumping from +74 to +84 . The first find was a clad quarter at 2 inches . When I re scanned the hole it had a deep +77 at 8 inches . I was very happy to see a old sterling ring at the bottom ! After that I found a couple of deep old buttons and one 1944D wheat cent . Then I got a screaming +24 at one inch . I was thinking gold but it was my first silver chain of 2013 ! It's a BIG one , 41 grams . It was a great hunt . |:cheering:
