Hey everyone! I am new to the forum and I figured I would introduce myself here. I am a Tennessee resident and I am only a couple of months into the coin hobby. I hope to get a decent detector this spring and start this summer off with some good hunts.

Welcome from western MA. Sounds like you're going to be coinshooting but being from TN you have a great chance for some Civil War relics. My hunting partner RobW is from TN and that is what he started out doing, relics. He moved to MA and now he loves the coins. Looking forward to your future posts and as Del stated, there is a lot of knowledge here on the forum. Feel free to as your questions.
