Got out with T-Hiltzy today we made a long road trip to some cellar holes on private land that he got us permission to hunt. 1st site had cement on stone foundation, was trashy but squeeked out the CT civil war coat button.next 2 sites were nailed pretty hard and we moved to 4th site, that's where the targets were! a shoe buckle,a rev war one piece naval cuff button in a low wet area.it's pretty toasted but you can see the anchor still somewhat,a WWI or II great seal button with a SUE ART MFG CO back mark.3 coppers a 1851? braided hair,a counterfiet KG II? rang up 42 on my VDI and a completely wasted copper no clue what it is,a bell and the broken shoe buckle frame was from a previous hunt

Nice batch of finds as usual Dave. You know, I just realized that I have been posting in the wrong forums. Coinshooters no more, now I will post here. :peace:

great outing and goodies as usual Dave |:cheering: love reading your posts :smitten: the buckle looks like a pretty flimsy type if so i suggest its for something else , perhaps somekind of strap or similar buckle .
