Actually my friend found it but he does not have Internet or a cell phone. Told I know where to post it up. Yup, the 1860 quarter came from the same site. Bruce its an old wooden keg tap key

It looks like a simple brass spigot, but I'm not sure what it's out of. You would turn it to allow the flow of a liquid.

Do a Google image search for antique brass spigot key and you'll see a bunch of them. thumbsup01

Oh thanks! Gee I'm absent minded, I have dug two complete wooden taps :confused: I swear the 3 surgeries & meds messed with my memory. great news now I can tell him.
