Rob was away this weekend so I to brave the area alone. The day started out very slow. The first keeper was the musketball. Then a couple of wheats, of all the wheats (9) the earlies was 1913. Around the basketball court I found the sterling ring, marked 925, very thin but the stones look really good.

I then headed over to the part of the park behind the ball field. Got the rabies tag there (2010) and the key which says Made in Russwin U.S.A. and the other side says Carlisle. Finally I get a nice VDI and the 1st merc for the day is in my keeper pouch. A few holes later the 2nd merc was in the pouch. Merc's ended up being 1929 and 1943.

I have to say that today I made quite a few trip to the trash cans to relieve the weight of my pouch.

Thanks for reading and HH

Not bad for a slow start. How deep was the ball?

About 7. This park was totally dug up and the dirt was then redistrubed around the park. When we first got there there was literally silver on top of the ground....
