I got a real cool silver 1783 2 Reale coin, a very first for me, and a real surprise. I got permission for a old house that has been turned into a feild in the last month, that means the copper has not been exposed to chemicals yet. It may also be the location of a real old tavern. It's got to be one of the best 1 1/2 hour hunts I have ever had. Lots of pics.

ps, I have cleaned up the 1783 and it looks even better, wil take another pic soon.

What a hunt! The 1783 2 Reales is an incredible find! And the 1867 two-cent piece and 1865 Indian Head are terrific as well! That Indian Head looks like it was brand new when it was dropped!

Neat watch winder too!

congrats on your finds they are all great finds but i would love to find a reale here in ill that may be hard though again congrats dennis :perfect10: :perfect10:

Dennis hunts don't get much better than that! You finally made it in the 1700's coin club. The 2 cent coin and the Indian are sweet. Congrats old boy!

The IH and 2 center are fantastic. But... the 1783 is off the charts!!!!!! :peace:

A big congratulations to you. Glad to hear you found the Spanish silver close to Iowa, maybe one made it's way
over the Mississippi. :cheesysmile:
