First of all, I want to thank everyone for your kindness and advice on this forum. All of you make me feel very welcome. I went out (again) on Thursday, which was my 4th day in a row and had another personal best (I know I’m just a novice). The V3 and the Shooter coil did their job again. I had 76 coins (9 quarters, 20 dimes, one nickel, one Mexican coin, and 45 pennies), along with one earring. All of which were modern, no silver, but still great fun. That makes 177 coins total during the four day period. I’m waiting for school to get out (in three weeks) so my wonderful wife can get in on the fun. I did find my 1st silver coin on Tuesday; a 1938 Mercury Dime. Yazoo's program just keeps on working...

That is a good haul of coins. And they sure add up fast too, especially when there are a lot of quarters in the mix. I know I can't pass those up. Good hunting! thumbsup01

You gotta give a lot of credit for your increasing finds to yourself too. I know how hard you worked to get up-to-speed. Congratulations!!!!

That V3 is a very capable and intricate machine. You are doing a great job of learning it. Your experience is showing, in the shear number of finds you are coming home with  Congrats on that hunt and your first silver coin. I would have loved to see the expression on your face when you saw silver lol
