Hit an old park in the big city today. It was disapointing. I did however find my first pocket watch there today.
And a broken I-pod. So i headed to another park i hit once without much success. It was pretty disapointing too! I did find a cap gun some pieces of copper and a bit of clad. Then on the way back to the truck there was a small grassy area that is between the road to the business next to the park and the driveway to the park. It has a large tree in one corner of it. Well, i figured every detectorist that's ever been here has hit this. But i started swinging my coil. Got a nice hit and pulled my second 1940 merc for the year. Then got another sweet high pitched signal. Out pops a sterling ring with a huge fake diamond.
Total clad was $4.02
