Sorry no outdoor pictures today because of the on an off torrential down-pours  I wasn't about to bring the camera beside when George gets muddy ...
its not pretty lol lol

I really didn't think it was going to rain like it did 8/ and with no jacket boy was i soaked :eyebrow: and i mean wet ... picture getting your clothes out of the washing machine and then you put them on wet . lol lol

The wet day started out slow for me , we got to an old haunt of ours because we had a feeling there was bit more to find.It was a hike into the woods to a cellar with ajoined saw mill and when we got the we noticed that the care-takers of the property bulldozed in the cellar hole. :dontknow: The machine was running very smoothly but all i got the coil over was just scraps of brass and iron , a clad quarter :hairpulling: :shocked04:verreaction: :crying02: dropped musket ball and dog tag until about a half hour before we left , which was a good thing as George had already had a copper and silver . This is when a got a signal I have almost forgotten , a copper .
Out popped the big green disk :happydance01: , shortly later I also retrieved what i thought might have been an aluminum chain. It turned out to be a .925 silver bracelet <: the silver washington (45) and wheats (27,57,54) were found at another short hunt.

heres the goods

That Draped Bust is a looker :shocked04: Nice condition. Yep, it was raining a little lol But for some reason the machines were running real smooth today. I ran the CTX on auto+3 and it ran deep all day long. Had a great day. Got a counterfeit / beat up copper, then the Barber dime (was hoping for Spanish silver lol), Lots of buttons and a token that was political in nature, but no candidates names on it. The small childs horse button is cool. Got a real nice Geo II from another hunt. I'm dry now and a lot less muddy.

Hey George.....I guess that token is a Seymour and Blair campaign token. Had to do with slave holding. Daddydigger IDed it on another forum. Your namesake coin is SWEET!

Dan, I do these hour long hunts after school, just to stay buff lol
I get out in two weeks so we'll get together soon.

Very sweet finds, in less than desirable conditions. A big :congrats: to the both of you.

The CTX is waterproof , so I know George was OK hunting in the rain, but what were you swinging in those conditions Del ? :thinkingabout:

Sasquatch ?? Rob you should of seen him a few weeks ago at the war of 1812 raid of Essex hunt , it almost looked like mud was growing up and down his forarms ::huh:: :shocked04: I think he scared some of the girls there , Heather gave him a strange look like what is wrong with your arms . lol lol

I had to Rob... because i couldn't convince the wife to hire a supermodel to hold up and pose with the large cent lol lol

:congrats: Guys ! Looks like you guys hit a home run on this hunt . I love the 1802 Large Cent and the details on the KG Copper is incredible ! Dan, I like the way you have the coin in the stick. I'm always trying to find a way to take pictures without the coin falling over because I shoot my coin standing up. That's a great idea ! I have a button also with a horse on it. I doubt it means anything but I'll post it anyway in the Relic section.
Thanks guys for the Pics, you guys never to have a bad day detecting, rain or shine. Looking forward to more pics on your next hunt . :)
:congrats: AGAIN !
