Headed to Florida Saturday for a week on the beach. Carrying my Etrac with me. Any advice would be appreciated as I have never hunted a beach before.

We have a second home just about six miles off the Jax coastline.

A while back, I wrote a few beach tips that some have found helpful. While Jax beaches are not stained by the dreaded black sand, many of the other comments might apply.

From the land of the Bluenose....dig it all is my advice. Coins in the sand lay on the sides and such. Good luck. <;)

I say dig the low tones and if you are not getting anything....go for the clad lol Seriously, If you want only gold, limit the digs to lower numbers. But if you want an idea of what is on the beach, dig it all is good advise.
