Today August 9th I started out in a small town 40 miles from home at an old fairgrounds. Bombed out here, nothing but deep readings clad! Second stop was another little park in a small town, but still no LUCK... :(
I wanted to hit one more small park on the way home and finally had alittle luck. My first reading came up as a 12-37 on the old E-Trac at about 6 or 7 inches which tells me to hope on an indianhead. And sure enough I was right, a 1905 with the full liberty and a really nice coin. I was not satisfied with that so I continued on my hunt and about an hour later I got a good reading of 12-42 at 6 inches, and I thought wheat penny. Sooooo.. I decided to dig and what to my surprise, after turning the ground, but a 1892 Barbar dime! So my day wasn't so bad after all! I was happy with that. Thanks for reading! Ron
