Well I upgraded from a Delta 4000 to an AT Pro last week. I had them ship the pro NDA since I was off the following day and couldn't wait to use it. It arrived and the rain started. I didn't care since shipping was expensive I went out in the rain. Prior to this using the delta 4000 my best finds were a bunch of clad and a 60's cap gun. I was still in search of any kind of older coin. I traveled to a large county park that has been detected for years by many people. Within the first two hours I found my first buffalo nickel, on my next trip out to my local school I went over some of the same ground I had with the 4000 and found my first silver. A 1964 dime. Not a bad start with a great detector. Now I will probably go back and watch the video on how to use it. Way to excited to sit through it up till now. Just had to get out there and dig. Need to find some good starter settings other then the factory ones.

Sounds like a great start :clapping: Two good coins and you barely got the machine wet lol

:congrats: Gotta love it. The same happened to me when I went from my Ace 150 to my GTI 1500. Once you really get to know the new stick, its gonna be even better!

Yeah, I'm gonna hate putting my machine away once it gets really crappy outside:(

The Garrett AT Pro is an amazing machine! Slap the 5x8 Pro coil on it and look out! AWESOME setup!
