:congrats: on another published article I've enjoy your last few and I'm looking forward to reading this one. Some day I'm going to put together a story I have and give it a shot. Any words of advice?

I wrote it for a couple who wanted me to write it for them. It's their story.

Don't be afraid to write it and send it in. Just like in asking permission to hunt a private property---the worst they can say is no. ;)

I think since the magazine paid me for them I would have to get their permission to put them together and add to my 2nd book I've been working on.

Just read my December issue of W&E, very cool story Robbie. I stated detecting in 1976 and started my first log book in 1980. I love looking back at those entries from time to time, it brings back some great memories. I hope someday when Im long gone that my children, grand children, ect will look back at my log books with as much pride as Mr Lutz's family.
