Had to take my daughter to her Vet Tech license test today so I looked up on google maps last night for any potential sites to hunt in the area. Found a park so I brought the detector along with us and while she was in the room for 3 hrs. I knew I had some time to give it a try.

Was able to hunt for about 2 1/2 hrs. and got $3.50 in clad, a musket ball, and a 1962d Rosie. I will put up some pics tomorrow on the finds and am still working on the finds so far for the year. HH

Beats waiting in the car for 3 hours  You did well. nice amount of clad, a silver dime, and a musket ball which is either way out of place or a good indication the park may be old.

I do the same thing with my son. I run him to a town 15 miles from home and detect while he is at Bowling practice. Great excuse to swing the coil. The strategy does not work as well in winter though. Keep swinging Wisconsin Digger
