Today I was MD'ing by my office parking lot and got a huge hit (81-85) on my AT Pro. My meter read 2 inches. Thinking that I had just found either quarter or a 2 Euro coin, I dropped down and cut a plug and out dropped this WWI Dopp Z 96 NF Artillery Fuse!

After the initial shock, I notified the MP's and post EOD who came and removed the thing. I would have loved to have kept it because it's a collector's item and BEAUTIFUL BRASS when it's cleaned up, but there was no way to make sure that it was safe and didn't want to be in violation of German law.
I found a ton of other stuff, but it's too late to take pics. I'll post them sometime tomorrow!
