Well, today was the 3rd or 4th time I went to an old house on my cousins farm and have been getting used to my new EuroTek Pro and have figured out some things for the better!
The EuroTek Pro lived up to its claim to fame today. This old house place has any & all kinds of metal trash strewn throughout the site. The old house and both barns were burned to the ground when my cousins were teenagers just for fun! I have been using the EuroTek Pro for a couple weeks with sorted results, but today it just clicked!
There are 2 tokens, the one with the swastika is for $10.00 off furniture when you buy $100.00 worth from OK city furniture store, circa 1910-12, the other is for a cake of soap if you buy one, get one free, Palmolive & Beets. Circa 1925 - 1926. Then there are 5 Indian Head pennies, the oldest is from 1864 all in the same hole, but not on top of each other. Then a '20 & '40 wheatie ! It was 3:25 this afternoon while the wife went to grocery shop for her Mother. At first I thought what a find, 2 Indian heads in the same hole and the more I looked the more I found! Now I'm thinking, where is the Silver at???

Great finds! I love finding indians. My uncle Jim who is 84 has been detecting since 1967 told me when you find one indian you find more indians because they run in tribes:lol: Thanks for posting

very nice Otis , congrats on the coins and tokens . from the heavy wear the indians all look like they were dropped sometime in the early 1900's . I'm very envious of you getting out .

Nice haul of Indians :clapping: That makes a good hunt right there. The silver is elusive. I always do the front yard over and over in different directions. I usually can sneak some silver that way.

Wow, what a hunt! That had to be a lot of fun! I love the 1864 Indian Head even though it's worn. Oh, the stories it could tell! What a great civil war-era coin.

An excellent outing to be sure!
Sites which are a challenge like that, are the sort that keep producing if you're persistent. I use a couple like that for my "proving grounds" to test new equipment.

Congratulations and GL!

Nice finds Otis! :congrats: I would like to see the other side of the furniture token. It predates the Nazi's so it must be the Hindu symbol for svasti meaning good fortune, luck and well being. I wonder if the owner of the furniture store was Indian or had visited India? Some interesting questions!

There were a number of tokens that used it. The front side is hardly noticeable, the $1.00 is legible and a couple words on the edge can be made out. Someone carried it as a lucky or worry piece. It is a value token in reality. It got wore flat almost.
