Those were quick responses. I use an AT Pro and Pro Pointer. Been MDing for a couple years now and always looking for new digs.

Welcome from the Land of Lincoln! :waving:

Glad you joined the forum! There is lots of history there in West Virginia. I wish I lived closer, I would definitely love to detect there.

Best of luck!

Yes, well much of it is protected and it can be difficult finding good spots the will allow MDing. But we do our best.

Hello from Connecticut Plug and welcome to the forum , the closest members to you that i know of are Robbie (Maryland) and Kray ( Virginia) . there could be a few more depending on where in the state you are at but stick around as i'm sure there will be someone that sounds off or new member joins up . its an active forum and the season is almost ready to get in full swing .

what kinds of places do you like to detect or are there particular things you like to find ??

Dan

Thanks del,

I'm not too particular, just like to find treasures. It is always good when you can find others to share in the fun.

Welcome from Georgia. What everyone above said is true: this is a great group of people who know and love their hobby. I'm fairly new at MDing (started Nov. 2013), and have learned SOO much from this forum and from lots of practice in the field. Hope you find a hunting buddy. Kasey
