The 21st Best O' North East Treasure Hunter’s weekend (BONE #21). BONE #21 is April 24 - 27, 2014 in Keene, Dublin & Marlborough & in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire.

The Professional Treasure Hunters Historical Society & Treasure Hunter's Gazette newspaper was started in 1992 by George Streeter to unite and promote to preserve, the metal detecting hobbies. Through BONE with friends & supporters we attempt to raise money annually for St Jude's Children's Research Hospital & the Wounded Warrior Project, ($40,000. since 1994).

List of days and events.

April 24 & 25, 2014 Natural Hunts Hunting time 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.(nothing seeded natural finds & door prizes) @ 200 acre Christian religious retreat. Potential for finds dating back to 1600 & 1700s. Thursday and Friday, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM meet hunt master Brian Thomas and his assistant, Steve Baldwin & Howard Johnson at Dublin Christian Academy, Dublin, NH for orientation, pictures & prizes. (use GPS for location on Page Rd, Dublin, NH). Hunters requested to check back in with finds at 4:30 PM for judging of “Find of day” award“. The FRIDAY HUNT Natural Hunt is AGAIN sponsored by Minelab metal detectors and all using a Minelab are guaranteed a door prize. This is a first for Minelab & BONE & me and this system may not work out, however Minelab appreciates the support from Minelab users.

Because of interference, No WOT coils or Pulse detectors. One hunter per detector. Hunters must wear headphones & use a drop cloth to put dirt on. We are a respectable bunch, No big shovels wider than 5" wide. Holes must be neatly filled & trash taken. Cover charges before 4/1/14 $45 each and $85 for both days, non members $10. more. After 4/1/14 the natural hunt fee increases to $100 for per hunt.

April 25 Friday night BONE Reunion Roast Pork Supper with door prizes and speakers, Social hour & cash bar 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM is meal. Held at Italian Club, 90 Wood St., Keene, NH Jason Sevene, Lance Comfort & Goldfinger will share a few tips or stories. This is an inexpensive banquet, always a great time. Cover charge for PTHHS & Gazette subscribers/members if paid before 4/1/14 is $10 each & after 4/1/14 its $15 each. Non PTHHS member cover charge is $5. more each and payable before April 18, 2014.

April 26, Sat. 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM treasure hunters & prospector's Hobby Show at Keene Recreation Center, 312 Washington St Keene, NH. Admittance with a $5 donation & under 16 free. Garrett, Minelab, Whites and Fisher metal detectors & Streeter's Treasure hunting Supply will be represented. Treasure hunting and prospecting clubs, and individuals display booths. A panning and best finds contest, 6+ workshops, including workshops by Jason Sevene, Lance Comfort, George Streeter, Joe Goetz,& one on prospecting club are planned. Always a Silent Auction with Bill & Barbara Barker. Many items to win including metal detectors & accessories. 25 chances to win great stuff & a door prize drawing of $20.00. Drawing for auction items 3:00 PM and the detectors are the last items to go. You must be present to win. Workshops are at 10:00 AM in room 14 & 22 and at 1:00 PM, & 2:00 PM in rooms 14 & 22. Help, donations of items, in good condition, are needed for auction), If you can donate to auction or a hunt, or help at BONE, please contact George Streeter.

April 26, 2014, 5:30 PM Saturday Treasure Hunter's Hall of Fame Awards Banquet 5:30 PM happy hour & meal at 7:00 PM with door prizes & a speaker at Italian Club, 90 Wood St., Keene, NH. Cover charge before 4/1/14 is $25 each or 2 for $45.00 & then $30 each.

April 27, 2014, Sunday, 21st National Metal Detecting Hunt with $5,000 in prizes. Sign in 10:00 AM. $3,000 in coins (from Rare coins of NH) buried with other donations & 10 numbered tokens (minimum value of $50 each). $100 hunt cover charge before 4/1/14 & then $125 each. 10:00 AM sign in, meet, greet, pictures & prizes. 2 hour hunt @ Frost field on Frost Hill Rd. Frost Hill Road is off NH Rte 124 in Marlborough, NH (across from Gazebo). At hunts end is the Gaillardetz $1,000 treasure chest drawing, for paid hunters only. Rules: One hunter per detector, hunters must use headphones, must fill in all holes, take trash & used tobacco product waste. Because of interference; no pulse detectors or WOT coils allowed in hunt.

April 27, 2014, following the 21st Open National Metal Detector hunt is our national raffle drawing for the metal detector prizes in our 2014 raffle.

All metal detector prizes were donated by Minelab or Garrett Electronics

1st Prize Minelab 3030 underwater & land metal detector. Suggested Retail $2,495.95

2nd Prize Garrett AT Pro (land & underwater metal detector) Retails $699.95

3rd Prize is a Garrett Ace 350 metal detector with DD coil & phones Suggested Retail $349.95

Raffle tickets are $10 donation each

Weekend BONE 21 Package Deal with 2 meals, 2 natural hunts, hobby show, best finds and panning contest, 3 raffle tickets and Sundays open hunt is $225.00 each to 4/1/14
