First Gold Ring! And another Ring!

Pretty exciting day for me....went to a local lake beach and found my first Gold! And little while later found what looks to be a Silver ring laying right on top of the sand, that had gold electro plate - we think it might actually have a real little diamond in it.

and hubby found a 1971 Gold plated Half Dollar plus a lot of clad...

He found a spill, but it was zinc pennies - he finally got tired of digging them up. All in all another great day with the AT Pro's!

LOL - DH found a silver ring last week....and gave it to me. So I kind of end up with them, even if I don't find them, LOL!

Thank you all. It was a great day, and hopefully we'll give it another go today. It's going to be colder today, so we'll see how long we're out there for. We are waiting for a test kit to arrive to test the other ring, if it is silver it's pretty heavy.
