Hello!

I swing a White's VX3 and have an XLT as a backup.

Relatively new to detecting (2 years) but loving every aspect of it: researchin', explorin', and if course diggin'.

Welcome to the forum. I used to live in the mountains south of Los Gatos. Good hunting down that way.

My Walker Half, not because of value or rarity but because of the fact that I was able to research the site and it paid off nicely. I've also got and SLQ the same trip and have pulled some other nice coins there too. Could turn out to be a nice bottle dump too, but that is still up in the air.

Best find in terms of value was probably the 12g 14k gold ring I found in a park and the big class ring that I'm in the process of trying to return to its owner.

I love those mountains and have read a lot about the wonderful history there. I've spent a lot of time exploring up there but most of it's private property. Still some very scenic drives nonetheless. Did get an IH out of the reservoir, but not much else. Did you do well detecting up there?

If you have any tips you want to share, PM me. ;-)
