Remember when I told Greenhat how to clean and preserve a great horse shoe that he found? Well this is how it's done on a piece of iron that I found. I turned a piece of rusted junk into a rustic looking crucifix suitable for mounting on a wall.

Nice job on that iron piece. There was another member here that did some canon balls the same way. It seems to do an excellent job. I guess I need to get that deep fryer and cook some artifacts :lol:

I've tried this on a few items - a horseshoe, an axe head, and a few smaller relics. It works really well; thanks for the video!
