Detroit area advice

Howdy All, I haven't posted in a while due to being tied up with spring activities. I am in Canton Michigan this week and was hoping that someone might have some advice about hunting sites. I have my VX3 and a couple coils with me and should have some time for a hunt. any advice about where to go would be much appreciated.

No success in Detroit. The weather was raining throughout my trip except for Friday. I found a park that dated back to the 1800 but arrived too late to buy a park permit to hunt. I drove by an historic home several times during my visit but wasn't able to connect with the home owners. Overall the area that I was staying was lot a bad looking place. There were some obviously historic homes scattered around in the area and I enjoyed my time there. I was able to stop in a few farm communities to hunt in Ohio on the way there and back but no notable finds.
Next trip will be Spokane Wa in late June. That is my old home so I know several places I will be looking to cover.
