I found these hunting in my subdivision at a couple of houses that were torn down and made into prairie grassland due to constant flooding of the DuPage river. The houses were built around 1960. They came from the same yard coincidentally. Both are marked STERLING on the back.

Whats funny is these came from the same yard. The larger serving spoon is the exact same design pattern as one I found down the street on another empty lot late last year. Im sure the kid who lost these got his hide tanned a bit.

I found 2 silver forks near each other earlier in the year. They weighed in at a total of 84 grams sterling. Nice thing about finding forks and spoons is the silver content equals many silver dimes in one shot. Way to go on your finds!
