Here is another result from this summer.

It was a very nice day, out in the vineyards.

An 1870 "5 centimes" from Grand Duche du Luxembourg
An unidentified coin
A roman As from Emperor Claudius (born on August, 1st 10 BC - died on October, 13th 54 AD)
2 double tournois from Louis XIII. Louis XIII (27 September 1601 – 14 May 1643) was a monarch of the House of Bourbon who ruled as King of France from 1610 to 1643 and (as Louis II) from 1610 to 1620, when the crown of Navarre was merged to the French crown.
A "Double Parisis" from Philippe IV. Philip IV (April–June 1268 – 29 November 1314), called the Fair (French: Philippe le Bel), was King of France from 1285 until his death. By virtue of his marriage with Joan I of Navarre, he was also, as Philip I, King of Navarre and Count of Champagne from 1284 to 1305. It is made from billon (30% silver/70% copper)
A one gram weight
Another billon, probably a "double tournois a la croisette" from Francois Ier
A couple buckles (17th/18th century)
A flint arrowhead "draft"

Incredible finds! Thanks for sharing them! It is fascinating to see what can be found in other parts of the world. We can only dream of finds that old here in the US.

Did you find these coins and relics in the vineyard itself, between the rows of grapes?

As you can notice, I am unfortunately not equipped well enough to do any decent cleaning... :(

I should soon have the right tools when I'll go to the Center of France and if possible, I'll post better pics of the finds.

Yes, everything was found between the rows of grapes. (Which are very practical when it comes to MDing !)
