This is not an advertisement! However, I wandered over to my favorite shopping site today (called woot.com) and saw a nice deal on batteries. It's a trustworthy site (now owned by Amazon) and they sell stuff on overstock essentially. They have a twisted sense of humor..fun to read the write-ups!
anyway, they currently are selling 72 AA or AAA batteries called GoGreen for $13 plus $5 shipping. They also have cheap 9v. The batteries are made in the U.S.A. apparently by veterans. Reviews on them seem very good.
