Yes im lucky that we have everything from roman to 1800.
Sometimes we finding nothing and sometimes we have a great spot.

Best guess would either be Valens 364-375 AD or one of the Valentinianus's 364 AD onwards. (there are a few more emperors who had very similar busts so any chance of a better picture of both sides?

Thanks Pona. Interesting and perhaps Willems can share more detail...if there is any. There were quite a few unnotable emperors toward the end of the empire, but if it was Valens you've at least got the Adrianople connection so that would be interesting.
