Hi my name is John from Ma. I'm 35 and been detecting for about 6 years mostly beach combing but starting more relic hunting in old home and park sites.I have a Garrett Ace250 but trying to save for a Garrett At Pro.

Welcome to the forum! Beach combing with an ACE250? How does it handle the wet sand?

Welcome from western MA. Gloucester is a beautiful city you're in a great part of the state for detecting, beaches and old homes. Hope you can get that AT Pro, I've seen some great finds posted here by people using the AT Pro. Looking forward to your future finds and feel free to throw up some pictures of some of your better finds so far.

I try to stay on the dry sand but some times I get close to the water and have had some luck

Hey welcome aboard from western MA. You will find relic hunting very rewarding in quality but less in quantity. You are in a real good area for early silver too. :drool:
