tuesday had not much to do so went back up to a colonial home 2 houses up behind me.got a few zinc pennies in back yard and a lil metal rocker chick that i missed previously on a search of the yard.guy at turn of century 1900 home was in his back yard.working on pool they just put in.the bank above pool was all tore up and he said yeah give it a go.this area was a dumping ground back in the day as it has tons of coal and ash, iron nails and broken glass.managed a crotal bell(which i beleive came from colonial home) a 1906 half penny, some brass trinkets and 2 bottles.one has a hole bummer another bummer is the naval motiff button which had me going for a bit.no back mark = civilian most likely

You seem to manage to find cool stuff everywhere you look Dave. It would be nice to find out where the rocker chick piece came from.

That's good stuff. Must be strange for you to do a lawn where the people from the home aren't buried in it.

That little rocker piece may be your best find there. Looks old and collectable

Nice finds Dave. Love the bell. Wonder if the Hires Bottle is the same company that made Root Beer. Rocker Chick is pretty cool as well.

Good stuff there even the holed bottle is neat. The rocker guy is probably the one that rode my rocker horse I dug! ;)
