7 Silver Day

Nothing special in the finds, but always nice to have a multiple silver day. Also found 19 wheats which I'd rather not even dig, but they let me know I'm in the right spot. Hunting buddies found 6 Mercs, Barber dime, Barber Quarter and silver Washington. 16 Pieces of silver for the day isn't bad for 3 guys. This spot we're hunting is private property where we have permission and has turned up a lot of silver including 2 Barber Halves, a nice Walker, several nice Standing Liberty quarters including the nicest one I've found in 35 years and one of the nicest I've ever seen come out of the ground. It's a big space so I know we'll be going back many times.

From the same hunt, Michael's finds :

And the grand total of Don's (his 7 silver being at the bottom) and my finds (including my first Barber dime !!! Already had the half and the quarter from that place ;) ) :

If I have some time, I'll try to do a post that would include almost all of your finds from that place, from the start. As Michael called it... The Giving Fields !

Now thats the kind of site we all dream of. 7 Silvers, WOW. I bet you can't wait to get back there.
Congrats to you & your buddies.

Wow what a great spot that place is :drool:It's nice to find silver that has a lot of detail left to it, like some of those Mercs do. Love the chauffeur badge. 1921 is a good time period to lose early Mercs and Barbers.

:wow: what a haul a huge congrats on finding all that silver and for finding such a great spot:clapping:
