Back to my 1790 site today, Kinda funny I'm finding Canadian stuff on American soil. (about 20 min drive down the coast):canada:

My finds today
51 shotgunshells today (I found 25 the other day from the same property)
2 musket balls
Canadian pin (can anybody date this?)
1893 O Barber dime
3 flat buttons
1919 Can LG cent
2 Indian head cents (one is 1909 but with no s, this is the second 1909 I got this summer) still cleaning the other one
5 wheat cents ( one is 1919 and still cleaning the others)

UPDATE
The IH were 1892 and 1909
The wheat cents were 1917, 1918, 1919 X 3.

It'll look mostly like this. Some differences between it and yours. Googling 4'th Pioneer Battalion brings up a lot of info. 1'st World War.

Somebody was having fun with a shotgun. Nice finds amongst the shotgun shells. Silver, IH, wheats and military is a great hunt.

Congrats and thanks for posting. Man gotta love that medallion. Thanks for the additional info on it as well Trooper Bri. I honestly have to give you a ton of credit for having the patience to dig all those shells. I'd need a whole tube of Shaq's Icy Hot for my knees after digging that many! Way to go.
